July 2021 Finance Update

July 2021 Finance update has been published. Along with the historical monthly financial expenses, the update also covers our future investments which highlights our plans for audits, bridge migration, fiat on ramp, improved analytics, and much more.

Discussion on PNG Tokenomics

We have a new discussion on our governance forum regarding how to improve PNG's tokenomics. The main suggestions are improved emission schedule and a buy-back & burn program. Create an account on the forum to share your opinions!

Token Migration

Last week Ava Labs launched the new Avalanche Bridge (AB), which is much faster and cheaper than the current Avalanche-Ethereum Bridge (AEB). Unfortunately, tokens from different bridges have different addresses, hence AEB tokens will need to be migrated to AB tokens. Now, it is up to Pangolin and other DEXes to lead this transition. You can read about our plans for migration in our latest blog post.

Proposal for Front End Developer

A proposal to hire a front end developer was submitted by Sarju Hansaliya. Sarju has been in software development for 7 years, and recently worked on to develop verifiable credential system on Stellar blockchain.

Pangolin Rewards

XAVA (Avalaunch) Pairs

XAVA-AVAX and XAVA-PNG pairs now receive PNG rewards. The addition of XAVA pairs to PNG reward pools was not the result of a governance vote, but the recently implemented “Universal Guidelines for PNG rewards” model.

Partnerships

Markr.io

We have partnered with Markr.io. Markr.io is the first portfolio management tool on Avalanche, which allows you to track your portfolio and swap tokens using the top DEXes.

Spore

We have partnered with Spore project. Spore is one of the first reflective tokens on Avalanche, and they have been at the forefront of user education and user adoption of Avalanche and Pangolin Exchange. In celebration of the partnership, we gave away $300. Follow us on Twitter to not miss our giveaways.

Avalaunch

We have also partnered with Avalaunch. Avalaunch is the first launchpad native to Avalanche.

AMAs and Interviews

This Week

We will have an AMA with AVME team August 4, 2021 at 8 PM UTC. AVME is building the first Avalanche c-chain wallet, and they will integrate dApps such as Pangolin into their wallet.

We will also have an AMA with Penguin Finance for our Turkish community August 4th.
